Meet the rising stars of roofing who have been crowned the BMI Apprentices of the Year for 2024.

BMI UK & Ireland are proud to announce the judges for this year’s BMI Apprentice of the Year Competition, which takes place on 24th and 25th of July at the BMI Academy.

Think you or your roofing apprentice has what it takes to be this year’s BMI Apprentice of the Year? If so, we’d love to hear from you. Whether you’re working in pitched or flat roofing, the BMI Apprentice of the Year competition provides the perfect platform to demonstrate your skills and enthusiasm for the industry.

Following two days of competition to find the most promising apprentices in pitched and flat roofing, the winners of the BMI Apprentice of the Year 2023 competition have been announced.

The construction industry is experiencing rapid change, new regulations, and innovative solutions that lead to new ways of working, ultimately requiring new skills and methods of installation.

We are calling all roofing apprentices and students studying towards their qualified roofer status to enter this year’s BMI Apprentice of the Year competition!

This year was the 15th annual National Apprenticeship Week! A time to highlight the positive contributions that apprenticeships make to the economy and wider society.
